Grilled Onion Cheddar Burger
Ingredients
- 4 unseasoned burger patties 1 pound in total
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 4-8 slices white cheddar cheese
- 1 medium white onion cut into circles
Serving
- 4 burger buns
Instructions
- Set grill to medium heat. Season both sides of the burger patties with the salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
- Place the burgers on the grill and cook on the first side for 3 to 4 minutes. Turn and cook to the other side for 3 minutes or coon until the desired doneness. As soon as the patties come out of the grill, top each with a slice or 2 of white cheddar cheese.
