Round block of brie cheese topped with fruit preserves and baked until melty. They could also be topped with walnuts (over the preserves). Served with crackers, bread, sliced apples, and more. It's a great festive starter for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and more.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small saucepan add butter, walnuts, and brown sugar and heat on medium-high. Toss the walnuts in the saucepan and cook for 5 minutes until the butter and sugar are melted. Once the walnuts are coated with the butter-sugar mixture, transfer them to the prepared parchment paper and let cool.
1 tablespoon butter, 1 cup walnuts, 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
Place the blocks of brie on a cutting board and score the top of each Brie with a sharp knife in a criss-cross pattern. Transfer the brie to a baking dish lined with parchment paper and top with preserves. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is soft.
2 round blocks brie cheese, ¼ cup preserves of your choice
Remove from the oven and allow the brie to cool for 5 minutes.
Top the baked brie with fresh raspberries, apple slices, and the caramelized walnuts. Drizzle with Balsamic vinegar and Honey. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs.

Serve with rustic bread and crackers for dipping into the melted cheese.

Notes
Preserves to use: strawberry preserves, apricot preserves, raspberry preserves, or orange marmalade will all work.
Walnuts substitute: Feel free to substitute the walnuts with almonds, pecans, or any other nuts you like.
After baking, allow the baked brie to rest for about 5 minutes before serving. That allows the brie to set while still being soft and melty without being too hot to enjoy.
